Intruder Alarm Maintenance

In order to keep your intruder alarm system compliant with the standards expected by your insurance provider, there are several steps you must undertake.

First and foremost, the system must be designed, supplied and installed by a properly qualified engineer. Our intruder alarm experts hold Gold accreditation with the National Security Inspectorate (NSI).

Secondly, all systems must be inspected and serviced by a qualified engineer once a year, to make sure that it is operating within its designed parametres, that all components are in good working order, and that no unauthorised changes have been made to the system.

Thirdly, the system must be used in a manner set out by the manufacturer and installer. This means testing it regularly (often once a week).
